  • Landmark Decision Doesn't End Battle for Charleston-Based Business

    Since he’s won that seven-year long battle, Smith figures that other company, Lexmark, is looking for some other way to bury his business.

    “I’m convinced they’re going to come after us and do what they can to make our lives miserable,” said Smith. “The day after the ruling, they came out with a whole new line that we don’t have the ability to make right now. They’re no different than the printers they had previously, but it allows them to keep the market to themselves and go back to overcharging for their products.”
